Junior Festival

The NFMC Junior Festival is designed to promote study, stimulate interest in American and World Literature, and encourage each participant to reach a high standard of musical achievement. Students work towards Gold Cup Trophies and monetary scholarships in Solo and/or Ensemble Events. Theory, Sight Reading, and Improvisation testing is also available.

Renewing teachers must fill out the Junior Club Membership Application and submit the fee by the branch deadline August 1 each year to avoid a late fee.

New members must apply for membership before November 1 to participate in Junior Festivals.

In order to participate, teachers must fill out the Junior Club Membership Application and submit the fee by the national deadline typical around August 1 each year. 

Club Name: This is your studio name or fancy club name of your choosing. You could keep it simple, such as “Burns Piano Studio Club" or choose something fun like "Crescendo Club, Spiritoso Club, 88 Keys Club, Staccato Stars..."

Once you are a paid CFMC Junior Club member and a paid VCFMC Senior Club member, you will receive a Federation Festivals Bulletin(Syllabus). Bulletins will be handed out at our August "Welcome Meeting & Potluck" where we will also provide an "Overview of Programs" for the new season.
